Membership

Membership to the Beaver County Kennel Club is open to all people 18 years of age and older who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the Club.  There are no residence requirements for the club members.  However, the Club’s primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors of its immediate area.

Prospective BCKC members must complete a membership application, in addition to attending 6 regular meetings as a guest.  Prospective members are also encouraged to work at least one BCKC event during the application period.  Once an applicant’s meetings requirements have been met, the application will be read to the club’s membership.  The application will be voted upon via secret ballot during the next regular club meeting.

All club members must pay dues annually, in order to maintain active membership status.  Annual membership dues are determined by the Board of Directors.  Voting at meetings is reserved for those members who have paid their annual dues.

BCKC meetings are held at the Clubhouse in Rochester, typically on the first Tuesday evening of each month.
