In an effort to uphold its mission of providing services to all dogs of the Tri-State canine community, the Beaver County Kennel Club offers weekly classes in conformation and obedience training.
Appropriate for handlers of all levels, the conformation classes at BCKC are conducted by highly-experienced handlers who are also members of the club. Classes are affordable, and are offered almost every week of the year. As one of the only AKC all-breed clubs in Western PA, BCKC is proud to offer consistent conformation training to the area’s handlers throughout all seasons.
The obedience classes at BCKC are open to all dogs, both purebred and mixed breeds, and are offered throughout the year in seven-week sessions. Enrollment fees are affordable, and discounts are offered to rescued dogs, for repeated classes, and to BCKC members. Each obedience class is part of a comprehensive training program, designed to progress from puppyhood to adulthood. All obedience instructors are certified evaluators of educational programs, including S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Temperament Test, and Trick Dog.
The rally obedience class at BCKC provides fun and exciting obedience training for handlers and dogs of all levels.
Class instructors stay relevant by actively competing with their own dogs in a variety of sports, including Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Fast CAT, and Trick Dog. All BCKC instructors are dedicated to helping dogs and their owners foster strong, enduring relationships, while keeping individual needs in mind. Keeping up-to-date on educational certifications and staying informed on current training techniques are always priorities.
